Eleven federal agencies and 1,300 government employees on Friday responded to a terrorist attack on a U.S. Air Force installation (see GSN, June 10).
The exercise, staged at the 90th Missile Wing ICBM launch facility at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming, was bigger and more complicated than any previous drill at a U.S. missile base. It involved both the response to an attack and the investigation of the incident (U.S. Air Force Space Command release, June 26).
